Does anyone know of a local business that could get a cassette tape put on CD?

The 80's called and they want their tape deck back
But I can not help you with your original question
Racing is not a sport, it's a lifestyle.
Call 987-3350 and ask for Luke. He can probably help you.
I am not merely a mass of molecules, incoherently careening through time and space. I am a child of God, destined for another world, a world before which this one pales in significance. Our spiritual preparation for the next world is to be the priority of this life.
I remember listening to the radio and pressing pause and record @ the same time till I heard a song I liked, on my stereo. Than I un-paused it and it recorded. I stayed up for hours on school nights trying to get my favourite songs.
It was more work than it was worth. Half the time the song got cut out because u accidently hit pause or u got the announcer or commercial. If u really liked the song u had to rewind it, again and again, and again.
Thank you Jackie. Is Luke with a company or is he a private individual? PM me if you would like.
While I appreciate the other comments and suggestions (thanks I needed a laugh) they are not really applicable.
I lost my dad last weekend and today was provided with a cassette tape of the funeral service which I would like to put on CD for my mom and siblings.
hook a cassette player to your computer & then look for free software to record from.
once recorded, burn to disk.
i did this in the past but forget the software i used.
google & you will findthe software & instructions!
How Bout Them Cowgirls?
I just recently did this with a bunch of "board" tapes I had (audio recorded live through a mixer onto tape - years ago) ... you can simply just record onto CD or take that extra step by re-Mastering the tape audio (remove clicks, hissing, adjust EQ, enhance etc)
If you're looking for someone to do it send me a PM.
Software I used:
Sonar 8 - Producer Edition
Sony Sound Forge (Mastering)
There might be an easier way but I get a lot of control this way and it was software I was already very familiar with.
Shouldn't this be under COMPUTER or something?
Afterall, there is mention of using computers to help with it.
This is not an opinion based thread!
