FYI it is at the Steelback center right now until 6pm, I think. Just in case you haven't already seen it around town![]()

Yay, stand in line with 10,000 star struck fans!
I saw it in Toronto at the HHOF up close and personal, without the baggage.

I saw it and touched it at the College today. Yay Tyler!
I watched that clip on one of the news sites....he said they were even drinking out of it. I'm guessing they gave it a good washing after everyone putting their babies and whatnot in it right......right??? LOL!!!
Otherwise...even though I'm not big on hockey, I think it's great Tyler brought it home for our city!! Way to go!!!

It's not even the real cup so what is the big deal??
I hope Gary Bettman was there, too. He was as big a part of that 'win' as any Penguin.

Hate to say it but someguy is right on this one as the "real" cup is too old and brittle to be taken out for this sort of thing because of all the harsh treatment its had over the years.
It's one of 2 that get circulated.
Even the real Stanley Cup has change from it's original state.
It is the real representative.
Its not the original that has the player and party history.
I think most people realize it's a replica.
It's just the newbee that makes a point of bringing it up.
You actually have no idea what you saw in the HHF.
Maybe this very cup was standing in while the original was getting some work done to it?
Excuse me your highness
The original Lord Stanley cup is in the vault at Hockey Hall of Fame (This is the smaller, original one that is too brittle to handle. The Replica sits there during the play offs. The presentation cup is the one that goes out on the ice, and home with the players. They were ready to pack up the Presentation cup (as we know it, the real cup) when I was there in May, and be replaced with the replica for people to see.
Says the courator(spelling) at the Hockey Hall of Fame this past May.
