GRRR - I hate when Tech's don't Show

I waited all day for a Bell Technician that was supposed to come to my house. I had phone trouble a couple of weeks ago and since then my internet has been so unstable that if it doesn't disconnect 30 times a day I'd be surprised.

I've been on the phone with Bell 4 times and last night they decided that they needed to send a technician to my house. They promised he'd be here between 8:00 - 12:00 well no technician.

I've been back on the phone will sympatico twice more today and I'm so disgusted with them right now it took everything I had not to be really really rude. It really bugs me that you call Bell Canada and can't speak to someone who actually can speak english.

Yep twice! Last night they told me it was inside my house, tonight they told me that its an outside line thing and that it would be repaired with in 24 hours.

I told them that if it wasn't I would be calling and speaking with someone's boss.

Tomorrow, I'll never get anyone in a position of authority at this time of night. I told the guy who gave me the oh don't worry mame it'll be fixed in 24 hours, that if it wasnt' I wanted a credit and I would be calling to speak to the BOSS.

Bell has a department which is really helpful and deals with almost everything. Its the new One Bill department. I called them for some questions, and they spoke perfectly clean canadian english, and were able to answer all my questions and help me with everything. They are definately the people to talk to.

You can't just quit Bell. They lock you into a contract for 2-3 years and to get out of it costs big bucks :-( I wish it was that easy because I get so mad at them at times. So does Hans.

Yes the bell is disconecting for my mom as well. I must say for high speed that sucks for it to disconnect say 3-4 times in an hour then be ok for most of the next few hours, but online gaming.... sucks as poof your in battle and poof your kicked out of the server due to bell DSL line disconnecting. It happen about 3 weeks ago as well and a tech come out looked at everything and said it is OK now... sure for a few weeks now it is starting to do it all over again.... HERE COMES SHAW once again i think my mom will get SHAW back and get the 10MB service.

There has always been something about a telephone company providing interent service that i don't like.

I called Bell about my home phone, it was an outrageous bill. Anyway, it said Press 1 for english.

When the fellow (who was very nice), answered, I said Oh crap sorry I thought i pressed one for ENGLISH

In all seriousness, this is why I went to Shaw. Bell was good but the service was intermittent. I called Bell about a problem I was having with their home networking modem. The India rep told me that they dont support those modems AT ALL. I switched to Shaw a few weeks later and got their 10MB service and totally love it. If I can download a 700 MB file in about an hour, I say I am getting my money's worth
