I love it when you go to a Tim Hortons, Wendy's ect. and there is one old person on one end of the restaurant, and another old person on the other end, and instead of sitting close to each other so they can talk, they yell across the entire building to carry a conversation. Is it just me being easily irritated or does anybody else find this irritating?

Idon't know why it's always old people. Teenagers are much more noisy. My hubby and I sit and talk quietly and we are old

I have to agree with super gram ....old people don't annoy me nearly as much as young people do (teenagers)

yup, it's definately usually teens making the noises that bug me, yelling everything and cursing real loud even if they can see a two year old sitting 5 feet away.
or it's my step-son. he never stops with the weird noises.

I guess it would be a bit unfair to suggest the older population are the only ones that yell across a restaurant.. Seriously though, there are quite a few yellers.

The only time I've seen older people yell was to be heard over the teenagers. plus there is one nationality here in town that it doesn't matter how old they are they still have to yell to the person they are talking to even if they are right beside them. So of course this person has to yell louder when replying as that seems to be a part of the tradition.

How is it better? Old people have residual lung butter and dried up saliva, the white stuff on my lips is actually frosting from a good cinnamon bun.
