My daughter is 11 months old, and she loves blocks. The only thing that keeps her busy.

Playing on a baby swing set-if not one she owns then bellview park has some-and the baby's love it

Maybe if they have a fenced in backyard-just playing with them outside..running around and stuff..not much to entertain a lil one lol.

Bubble blowing is always a very popular activity at that age. You blow 'em, she'll chase them!

Give her a paint brush and bucket of water to "paint" your deck. My son loved doing that

*Using non-toxic paint for fingerpainting on large glossy or butcher paper
*Sandplay is another favorite
*Exploring with flour (home-made) playdough, cornstarch/water, jello, etc. or other
pliable (safe) texture where they can poke or manipulate its softness;
some may even pound on it! Others may taste it, and this is very
natural for 1 year-olds, because they are very sensorial and testing
out the world through their own bodies
*Watertable play is an all-time favorite type of play. Use simple low
big tubs/buckets, fill it with water (add food coloring as option)
and large safe toys, as materials
*Musical instruments (like drums, bells, shakers) that they can grasp and
manipulate are great ways of play

Give him a box to hide in and some toys to hide in it. Then, if the boy is confident with you enough, roar at him (while smiling) and chase him around. Kids that age love being chased.

Swing him around in the air. That's the easiest way to get a toddler to say "Again!"

If you don't mind noise, give him a pot and show him how to beat it with a wooden spoon. This is good for hours.

If none of this works, pull out the big guns. Put a nice big bed sheet on the floor and dump a lot of raw rice in it. Give him a kitchen funnel and a couple of plastic cups. Show him how to pour from one to the other, then let him make up his own game. Don't worry if he eats some--it's just rice.
