Wow, that was a pleasant surprize listening to the GoW recording! At the risk of sounding condescending, I hear a huge improvement in the maturity within the band. I was impressed with the melodic passages and use of harmonies within the song as well as the more techincal passages. In the past, I listened to some of the GoW links that were posted and to be honest, I found the band was trying to cram too much into their writing style - almost as if there was a fear of not being heavy enough through every second of their songs.
It took me a long time to understand what "less is more" actually meant. I get the sense when listening to "Life Force Rapture" the band gets it too. On the down side, I like the drumming but don't care for the drum mix in the recording - but that's my opinion. Good work guys.

i am glad you were honest.. no need to sugarcoat anything.. let us hear it. working with Miguel @ his studio was very much a learning experience through and through. we re-worked much of our music and our sound was finally where we wanted it all along
