fiberglass boat keel repair

does anyone have any experience with keel repair. I Have a project to work on and I did research it on the internet but I was just wondering if anyone has ever done this. Before I undertake the project , I want to make sure its worth doing it. It appears the keel may be rotten. any input would be greatly appreciated

thank you for your comment, although, I am looking for advice , how to approach. Has anyone done any keel repair to a fibreglass boat. It's only a 6 to 10 inch area. what materials do I need, e.g. epoxy, fibreglass strip. etc. what is the procedure/steps to take.
