Default Parents Choice formula from Walmart or .........

Has anyone tried this formula?
I compared it to Nestle Good Start and they are almost identical.

They are the essentially the same. They have the same nutrients, nestle proteins are slightly broken down to aid in easier digestion for the baby and you will just be paying more for the Nestle brand. My pediatrician has given me that information. So, if you want to save yourself some money, buy parent's choice. Won't harm the baby.I have used both, and i found no difference, except on my wallet.

Being no expert on anything, especially doctoring and kids, suprisingly enough I have an opinion about this.. I would think that getting a childs diegestive system to work a little harder would better prepare it for the real world of food. I've been wrong before but this seems to make sense to me.

I was told the same thing and decided to switch my daughter from Enfamil lower Iron to Parents Choice. Considering a case of Parents Choice is almost $10 cheaper then the Enfamil and there really is no difference, you're just paying for the name on the can. Plus if your child has a hard time with Iron fortified formula, Parents Choice is the only formula here (that we could find) that offers it without Iron.

Gotta be Nestle, if this is correct "nestle proteins are slightly broken down to aid in easier digestion for the baby "

I saw about 4 pediatricians in regards to exactly this AND a few nurses.

They all say there is essentially no difference in formula. And if you look @ Parents Choice, its better then the major brands in the sense of what's in it. AND it is WAY cheaper.

And it would depend on the child as to what would be easiest.

How old is the baby? And is it on solids? Because if it is on solids, then the transition from breastmilk to formula should be a lot easier as the digestive system is already used to working harder.

When I asked my doctor about formula's (which one he recommended), he told me that the major manufacturers of formula sell their product to companies that don't make it, and allow them to put their label on it. My sister told me that President's Choice is Similac.

My son threw up breast milk all the time! Switching for me wasn't a problem at all.

I use the President's Choice brand with iron. It's at least 10 bucks cheaper than any other brand of formula, and my midwife told me that all brands have the same nutrients, so why no buy the cheap stuff. It definitely has saved me a lot of money. And the powder cans are the same price as a 12 can case of ready to use formula.

I went to walmart and picked up a couple of cans of their brand, hopefully the baby does well on it.
For 3 cans of the powdered 900gr, it was a little over 40.

I used the concentrate Parent's Choice for my youngest. I had used SMA with my other two, but it's not available any more. When I saw my family doctor for her one month checkup, he said it was a good brand. She had no problems with it for the nine months she was on it.

Both of my kids used the President's choice stuff, no problem.

We will use it for our third when it is born as well in a few more months.

The more expensive brands are just that, more expensive, nothing more.

The powdered stuff is thinner, so it would probably be easier for her to adjust to. Good luck with transitioning!

well you could always breast feed!

But my son was going through $100 A WEEK after his surgery. A WEEK!

It was insane, and I could barely afford that. That was more then what I spend on groceries a month for everyone else!

But we made it through! Lol, now he eats about $80 a month, plus solids.
