    Default removing tiles

My landlord has bought a house and wants to pay me to remove the kitchen tiles, they are 3 layers of them. She only wants to remove the top layer, i'm thinking a HOT iron with a wet cloth and put them on a tile and heat up the adhesive and use a putty knife to scrape them up. If anyone has any other ideas lemme know, i'm open for ideas. thx.

hmmmm, that i'm not sure of. I think they are just linenolium tiles becuzz three layers of ceramic tiles would take to much space. So lets just say the are linoleum tiles, I need some ideas. I think my way would work but not sure. And top it off i don't wat to to do this all day.

I would suggest a small bullet steamer or something similar. It'll remove the top layer without damaging what is underneath. They are about 40.00 at Canadian Tire.

I was just talking to her and she said they are just the stick-on's type. But Butane tank and nozzle and puddy knife will help, thx for the hint.

i would suggest not doing it.
if at all that you achieve pulling ONLY the top layer, the layer below would be full of adhesive that will not come perfectly off the second layer & would look like c-r-a-p!

soyou'll need to subfloor over it
