Save your money for your honeymoon, call Betty Crocker!! No seriously, why spend crazy amounts of money on a cake? Save your money and buy something that you'll remember. JMO

I used Toni's and it was great. As for the cost, it depends on what you want. How many layers, size, decorations, etc.

Put the money out on the cake. Compared to the price of everything else for a wedding, it is minor.

MMMmmmmm.....Toni's!!!! They have delicious cakes, love their icing as it isn't overly sweet like everyone else's. That's where I've been buying birthday cakes for my kids for awhile now!

If you are going all out with the wedding, don't skimp on the cake.

P.S. My MIL made ours some 18 years ago.

I used toni's...couldnt tell you what it tasted like because we were too busy to have any, but my guests said it was wonderful. I had enough cake to feed about 150ppl with left overs for the next morning at the gift opening. I paid 350$ for my cake, but 50$ was refunded when i returned thecake stand.
i also have heared that taste of scandia has delicious cakes.

I don't remember what I paid, but it was not very expensive, and the cake was really good. There used to be a shop on Queen called Bri-Lynn's (Brian Tremblay's wife Lynn was the baker....Brian was also my photographer, and did an incredible job). Maybe if you call his photography studio, you can ask if his wife still does cakes, maybe from home.
