    has anyone tryed these out ??

    how do they work i seen the one at wal mart for 398 with everything
    just wondering how they work all input welcomed

    They work and are sufficient for internet and every day use. Not so much for gaming or more professional applications.

    Emachines is a knock off of Gateway computers. They are as decent as any other low end computer but dont expect to play anything more than internet games on it.

    Sometimes it's better to buy an older machine at a discount price, as it might better suit your needs.

    It all depends what you need it for.

    That will do great. These days a phone will even work well for those applications.

    Ya Gateway bought Emachines a few years ago and they were a decent brand at the time. Now Acer owns Gateway, and thus owns Emachines so who knows how they are now.
