What about baking a whole brie? I've done a few lately and they are always a hit.
You serve it with crackers of course.

Bacon wrapped water chestnuts are very good.

Also, diana sauce in a fondue pot with little meatballs and cocktail sausages is good.

    Chinese potstickers with plum sauce.

Pumpernickel bread, hollowed in the centre and filled with spinach dip.

Everything always tastes better when someone else makes it...lol (IMO)

not sure what they are called but all you need are a bunch of jalepeno peppers, creme cheese, (real) bacon bits, and some shredded cheddar cheese.

Slice the peppers in half and hallow them out. (Get rid of the seeds and stuff. If you want them really really hot leave some of the rind thingy inside, otherwise I take it all out and they are still spicy).

Fill each half with cream chesse, then sprinkle the cheddar and bacon bits on top. (I kinda shove it down into the cream cheese otherwise it'll all fall off as soon as you move them).

Set them on a baking pan and throw in a 350 oven for 10-15 minutes. Some people leave them in longer, I find they are nicer when really warmed through and not crispy like if left in longer. Depends on your preference.

Might wanna throw on a pair of disposable gloves to play with the jalepenos, otherwise it'll be late that night after you've washed your hands umpteen times that you go to rub your eye and experience a burning sensation forcing you to run to the tap and run cold water to "try" and rinse your eye out.

Otherwise these are really good, they'll dissappear fast though.

Or...next time you drive by M&M Mests and see that sign out front advertising "FREE SAMPLES TODAY", run in and check out the smorgasboard of free appetizers they have waiting for you in there.

Made the mistake of taking my oldest (bottomless pit) in there with me yesterday. They probably had to take the sign down after we left....he just couldn't grasp the concept of only "trying" a couple when they had so much out to sample. Ughhhhh......(LOL)

    tortillia rolls

pkg of wraps(green and red if you like), spread cream cheese on wrap place some ham and cheese on it roll it up jelly roll style, wrap tightly, put in fridge at least 2 hrs,,, best if left over nite, slice and arrange on tray. This is so economical and a pkg of wraps and brick of cream cheesse makes a lot of appitizers. you can pretty much put what ever you want in them,,, ham and olives, cheese and salsa, imitation crab cheese, seafood sauce,,,,, etc.

They are very good, we usually soak the water chestnuts in soya sauce for about an hour. We then drain the soya sauce and wrap bacon around the water chestnuts and stick a toothpick through them to hold the bacon on while they cook.

I'm not sure what they're called but those little spiral things with cream cheese in them. The name escapes me but the taste is memorable.
