    Default In The Night Garden

How many others on here have kids who love this show? My daughter loves this show and has to watch it every night before bedtime. Its a weird show but she likes it. I like Makka Pakka. And then theirs the pinkyponk that farts. lol. I bought her a makka pakka, iggel piggle and upsy daisy dolls and she grabs all three and sits beside us on the couch and watched the show then goes to sleep. Also at the beginning theres the kid in bed and the parents in drawing circles on the child's palm. Now she grabs our finger and wants us to do the same thing..its so cute..

LOL. i know what you mean about being to busy for tv. Mine is n the go constantly. But at night after her bath she likes to cuddle and watch ITNG. It relaxes her i guess. I read about the show and It was made to calm preschoolers and toddlers down for bedtime.

my kids like itng. don't buy the big wooden ninky-nonk though. it's made out of cheapo pressboard type stuff. it was around $30 and it lasted less than a week before peices started falling off. i don't put treehouse on that much anymore, they really like veggie tales now so i put that on if they are having tv time

This is the only show my son seems to pay attention to on TV, he is disinterested in anything else. When he sees Iggle Piggle ge goes nuts...whether on TV or in toy form....lol

Just kidding - the mention of of Cyrus family members name is not allowed in the house.

My daugher LOVES "pickle" as she calls him. Other than that unless she can see Iggle Piggle she could care less and I think she just likes saying his name more than she does the actual character...

Then you are not looking closely. My daughter goes and washes everything like Makka Pakka. They share a lot in the show. Take turns, and so on.

This show is horrible all of my kids right down to the youngest (who is 4) knows that it is not allowed on in my house, with all the options of fun and educational shows that are on why would I subject anyone to this! The teletubbies were also banned in my house, you want you kids to move forward pick up thing like letters or words maybe even a nice song, why not set them up with a show that can offer that?

Any show out their can b misconstrued as educational tpot. A show like this makes the kids pay attention from their sounds and colors, but in the end they r far from educational. I'm a big fan of word world, super why, Sid the science kid, handy manny, word girl and of course seseme street. Dora & diego is cute, but in canada spanish is not our second language. But I guess we get these channels because we r on a border town. More shows that are bilingual in french and english would probably b a big hit in canada if they ever tried expecially for the younger children who's minds r like sponges.

My daughters watched sesame street every single day. I have a pvr so i have about 20 episodes recorded for her. She loves sesame street, backyardigans, caillou, and at night in the night garden. I did not think I.T.N.G was to educational at all. They do not talk, they all make weird noises and the pinky ponk farts...lo. BUt tha show calms her right down at night for some reason.
I hated the tellitubies as well.
This veggie tales, what channel is it on.
Im also trying now to get her to not watch tv as much. I let her watch sesame street while having her breakfast, then she just runs around and plays with her toys and stuff. When her shows are on she ll make the odd stop in front of the tv watch for a few seconds then run away, I think she just likes to dance to the music most.... But I think im going to let her watch her sesame street in the morning. then tv off for the day and she can play with her toys and read with us ect...and at night i ll let her watch itng and go to bed. I dont think alot of tv is good for kids really. Its more of a babysitter for parents who dont want to play with their kids and take them out. Next week we start a playgroup , that should be fun
