I also received a letter from Kim Hazen in Bay City. She said that Dr. D has decided not to do any more MBG's, but did not say why. The part about 4 leaks in a row is only speculation on someones part.

Dr. D is still available for the regular follow-up of his current MBG patients, but is taking on no more MBG patients. Kim Hazen will continue to work for CLOS out of Bay City in the same capacity she has before with assistance for new and old MBG patients.

I have great respect for Dr. Doroghazi as a doctor, and even more as a new friend. His honesty and integrity is something I wish more people would show. I am very happy that he is still there for any follow-up I need as one of his patients.

I would not hesitate to encourage anyone considering weight loss surgery to have the MGB at one of the other facilities. If the other doctors are anything like Dr. D, you too will be in good hands.

I would really like to know why he is not doing it anymore. The fact that he suddenly stopped makes me nervous as hell..

Got this off of a post on the MGB messageboard

As you are aware, Dr Rutledge did go to Michigan this past week at Dr
Doroghazi's request. Dr D, recently, had some technical difficulties
with the process and was not as comfortable as he would like to be
performing the surgery. Dr Doroghazi made the decision, along with Dr
Rutledge, to cancel surgeries until Dr Rutledge could be there. Dr D
has always had, and will continue to always have, the patient's
optimal safety and health in the forefront. Never would he put his
own livelihood or ego before that of a human being's life.

Try "Fibre Sure" in chewable caplet or tasteless powder. It is way better.

i use benefibre from across the river, the noname brand, which i like better than the name brand. it is non thickening, flavourless, gritless... you dont even know its there, except it keeps me wonderfully regular and does its job.

i couldnt stand the citrucel either. yuck.

i see you had no pain with potatoes, how is the whole pain thing going? i hpe its over!
