Unhappy 10 new born puppies. left at the mail box

last friday soo michigan had 10 puppies brought in. New borns with ambilical cord still attached, WTF! One pup had to be euthnized due to server clift pall and other issues, So 9 pups have been fosterd out. they look like rotti mixs, maybe rotti/lab. they will have survived 1 week now so i think thye are well on there way. we went to tsc and got milk replacer , so they are doing well. Why are people sooooooo stupid?

i don't think that's a reasonable answer to leaving the pups out to die all alone. even if the mother died the owner would still be responsible for the puppies and should have done something else with them. got them formula or brought them in to the animal rescue. you don't just abandone a helpless little animal like that

they made a half-assed effort not a good choice at least and it is the very least they could have done. the pups were not discarded with the trash not treated much better though. i assume that they were left at a mailbox where help was available

Aw they could have at least dropped them off at the chippewa animal shelter in the night box or somthing. Just to provide a shelter from the elements. Its not warm out there!

Its warm out there today! It is crazy that people do things like this though. Don't they realize that those puppies have emotions and physical feelings? They can be scared, sad, lonely, cold, and hungry OR they can be happy, tired (from too much playing), full (of good food and love), brave and warm! They need to make stricter laws... even though in this case it probably wouldn't have helped... but still... something needs to be done. it isn't even just dogs, any animal in the care of a human needs to be taken care of (that includes farm animals and zoos)

I want so badly to do something. People drive me bonkers. It makes me sick. I can't even express my anger towards irresponsible pet owners/caretakers. ARGH ARGH ARGH.

How have the puppies made out... or do I want to know?

I wish we could do something. Like make a petition or.... go on strike (haha?)... or something. Anything to open the eyes of people. But I guess some people don't see what we see.
