seeing eye dog program

Is anyone aware of any program that helps defray the cost of one of these dogs for someone on a disability pension?

this is one of those things that fall between the cracks as according to the lady she checked with them but they don't. but thanks anyways.

It might be worth looking into the Assisted Devices Program. I know a dog is not a device but they may cover it. http://www.health.gov.on.ca/english/...dp/adp_mn.html nothing that I can see on eye dogs but you never know?

Seeing eye dogs are not pets. They are dogs with jobs. I think there's a big difference.
