Sault Ste. Marie The Sault Ste. Marie Kennel Club will be holding their 152nd 157th All Breed Championship dog shows this weekend at the Soo Curling Club.

Six conformation shows, four licensed obedience trials and two rally obedience trials will make up the weekend. There will also be a competition in conformation and obedience for junior handlers.

175 dogs will be competing in seven groups for Best In Show in each show. There are two shows each day; the first show is scheduled to begin Saturday and Sunday at 8:30 am and 9:00 am on Monday. Junior handling is Saturday only, beginning at noon. Obedience trials are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday only. Rally obedience trials are scheduled for Monday morning.

The event is free to the public, donations gratefully accepted. Dogs, other than those registered in the shows, are not permitted.

The Sault Ste. Marie Kennel Club is a non-proft organization whose mandate is to promote the advancement of pure bred dogs and responsible dog ownership for all dogs. They offer obedience classes for all dogs with the next sessions beginning in September. For more information, go to www.ssmkc.com.
