Keurig VS Tassimo

[IMHO]

We are looking at buying ONE of these 2 name brand POD coffee pots. We would like to hear from you as to which one you bought....why?...pros and cons....cost of pods...best place to buy the pods etc. We noticed that the Tassimo is on sale this week at Walmart for 95 bucks...good deal?

I went with the Keurig because several people I know have those machines and it turns out to be a reliable coffee maker. As for the costs of the K cups or pods I believe they range in the 60 cents each range. As opposed to spending 1.52 at Timmies it turns out I don't need to buy a couple for work and make it at home more often and save a little. If the cost of the K cups or pods is enough to deter you from buying it Keurig also sells a reusable filter so you can continue using what ever coffee you buy now. I know for a fact that nothing beats Keurig for speed as it makes a cup of coffee in less than a minute. I can't comment about the Tassimo because I dont know anyone that has one but I can tell you that Keurig has been around for a while and you can find K cups in many stores in Michigan and in Southern Ontario because of its popularity. In fact a store just opened next to the Macs on Mcnabb that sells the Keurig coffee makers and the K cups of many varieties to go with it...

What I mean is you are not going to like all the coffees they sell. The machine will brew virtually the same way other machines do.

I like 6th members "special coffe"...he uses the Keurig and a secret family recipe.

rmk got me a keurig tonight pretty awesome coffee if you ask me. what sold us on the keurig is that you can buy the insert to brew normal coffee so we are not bound to the disks. the mini was on sale at sears for 99$ yay for sears points!

We have Keurig and I LOVE IT!!!

We were wasting so much coffee when we'd make a half-a-pot and now we can have a coffee,tea, or even a hot chocolate whenever we want

The kids even use it to make their own hot chocolate....

And if you go to the place on McNabb thats right beside the trophy place (beside Macs) they have a HUGE varity of coffee and tea there and its not expensive either....

I LOVE MY KEURIG!!!! me and the signifigant other have purchased 2..one for the toy hauler camper trailer thing we have and one for home..it ROCKS lol...I pretty much have every type of tea, hot coco and coffee you could possibly want and I'm buying 4 more for relatives this x-mas..I'd recommend it anytime!

I even got my co-workers in on a purchase for workhaha..

So basically if you go"camping" where theres electricity...this machine rocks for a camper..

I sold my parents on it in less than 5 minutes and my dad uses one EVERYDAY lol and hes oldschool..

I haven't had issues with mine, what so ever..I'm a little OCD on clean , and this machine coffee wise was made for me

I don't live in the Sault anymore, but I just bought 6 boxes of 18 at future shop here and I got them for a little under 10 bucks a box,(because I purchased more than 3)...but, thats sooo reasonable to me.

Anyway,good luck on your choice but...+1 for the keurig

reurig for sure...you can buy them at the station mall drug mart and they have three different machines in stock and they have a very large selection of k cups and accessories to choose from. i love mine!

Tassimo is disgusting. I reviewed both and am a keurig fan through and through
