Although in my heart I know she didn't actually intend for anyone to lose a life over her posts, she sure talks an awful lot about other people's irresponsibility. I would certainly hope that she starts taking responsibility for her public posts.


Remembering that not everyone in this world isn't wound as tight as we'd hope is important for someone like her, smack dab in the middle of today's media circus. It only takes one unhinged individual to twist her public postings, ultimately taking the lives of many. Wake up and smell it, Sarah. Get off your high horse and stop deflecting- Take some responsibility for your actions.

You're going to blame Sarah Palin for this? I know you said you don't think in your heart its her fault but then you go on and blame her. If anything its Obama's fault. He told the world its ok to bring a gun to a knife fight. The killer probably heard Obama say that and then decide to shoot up a crowd. Seems more plausible than some targets on a map. This reminds me of the Old West movies where the bad guy threatens everyone with a gun, until the good guy kills him. Just as if the Civil War hadn't just ended,, nobody carried a gun, or knew how to use one.

Palin was in no way responsible for the incident in Arizona. But, being the token Tea Party representative does give her a bit more public exposure; and therefore influence over those people who are easily influenced. She needs to choose her words carefully, as does everyone else on any public platform.

In this world, the masses are being represented mostly by the actions by a very select few radicals from both sides of the spectrum. It's their actions that are reported by the media. The more responsible individuals who are in the spotlight become, the less likely more incidents like the one that took place last Saturday will occur.

Osler says his friend wasn’t shooting at people, “he was shooting at the world.” Regarding the high-pitched talk radio and cable news political rhetoric, Osler says his friend didn’t even watch the news.

"He did not watch TV. He disliked the news. He didn’t listen to political radio. He didn’t take sides. He wasn’t on the left. He wasn’t on the right."

It's all good. At times, the filter between my brain and my mouth is nonexistent. And my fuse is shorter than usual when I'm already irritated by something that has absolutely nothing to do with what I sometimes lose it about.
