    Default Fast drivers

20 years old, 42 demerit points, imagine his insurance rates when/if he gets a license again.

...Sgt. Genevieve Bruneau of the Surete du Quebec told CTV.ca the young man was clocked at 240 kilometres per hour, in a 70 km/h zone.

Bruneau said police issued a ticket for $2,598, suspended the man's license and had the vehicle towed.

He also received 42 demerit points. After 15 points, drivers in Quebec are effectively unable to obtain or maintain a licence...

I blame the asians. They promote this sort of behavior with those racing movies and tv shows. Remember kids, "CLOSED COURSE" means there's no traffic and you own the road. "PROFESSIONAL DRIVER" means you have more than a G2 and the keys to your mothers BMW".

    He'll learn.

lol tell me about it. I got nailed going... "fast" in a 60 a few years ago. It was only a few months before the street racing thing came out. I know that my father was oh so mad haha. I can only imagine what's happening to him

    At least not legally.
Licencing is obviously a silly formality for him anyway. Oddly enough you can still drive with out the legal permits. Laws are for the timid and law abiding. Those who chose to circumvent legalities wouldn't even hesitate at that point.
A friend stationed in Afghanistan has retired and stayed on, opening a bomb plant that makes ordinance that look like prayer mats. Profits are through the roof.
