    Default Dear kenmore

Your elite ht2 front loader sucks. Thanks to incompetent service tech's I am out of a washer until the parts that are on back order come in. (possibly march 29th at the earliest) I would also like to thank your awesome customer service agent who told me the only thing I could do was wait till the parts come in. If it wasn't for my washer breaking down 6 times in two years I would never have any company. I look forward to my visits with the sears technicians every few months. Please tell me where I can drop off my laundry and have it returned daily at your expense.

    No love,
    Giggle.

The cost of repairs they have done on it so far would of paid for the washer 3 times. When you spend 1000$ on something you expect it to last. The last time I called the service line I told the lady the washer was locked shut filled with water won't drain or cycle. She told me to pull it out and unplug it. I had to laugh. Ya I am totally awesome and have super human strength but I can hardly move that thing on a good day when it is empty. No one from kenmore or sears wants to tAke responsibility or even offer a temp solution. I told them to either give me a loaner machine or replace this pos and they are like well we will get back to you. I have three puking kids no washer and I am not happy. I was expecting the parts tomorrow. My mother offered for me her washer but that is a PITA when you gotta drag kids and homework and stuff. Just super annoying.

I have a Kenmore dishwasher[a year and a half old]...and I too have their service guy on speed-dial. The last time he was here he told me that the reason my dishwasher wouldnt drain is because there was a peppercorn stuck...it has the garburator that is supposed to grind chicken bones ffs! He also told me to be more careful when loading it and make sure to rinse the dishes...the manual says not too...I will never buy Kenmore again, maybe I should borrow my 20 yr old dishwasher back from the ex, its still working like a charm!

I had a 200$ apartment sized washer from walmart I used for years with no issues. It just got impractical with a growing family. I have the companion kenmore dryer and no issues with it. I have emailed kenmore called and no response.

You do know that Kenmore appliances are brand names with Kenmore labels, right? I'm betting your washer is a Maytag or Whirlpool (same company now). The machines are really problematic, and Whirlpool doesn't give a crap. Just for laughs, I'd plug your model number, Kenmore, and manufacturer into google to see who really makes it, and what the known issues are with it. Then I'd be sending an email way up the Sears chain, with all the dates, problems, and age of machine. To learn how to do this effectively, go to the Consumerist website, and search under Electronic carpet bomb, or executive email carpet bombing.

I know people who have samsung or of front loaders and they are amazing. I do my fair amount of laundry but nothing the machine shouldn't be able to handle. Anyone have any tips on how to amuse 3 kids in a laundry mat? The last time they had to change the computers in it that alone cost what I paid for the washer. The pump was 600 the front panel with all the buttons on it was a few hundred dollars. The new spin bearing has to be changed along with the back of the drum. It literally exploded. It stRted making noise last month the guy game to look at it told me not to worry about it and it will be fine. I was hoping he would show back up last week when I called to have it checked again. A week on back order meh. I think I might be able to handle that. But more then a month? Really? And then when they get the parts another week for them to send someone out? *scream

I'll probably be selling my Samsung washer and dryer in the next week or so if interested. Both front load, and stackable.

Yup, u b screwd. I just googled it, it's a Whirlpool. No wonder you've had so many problems, and parts take forever.

Not that I'm interested in buying them, but why are you thinking on selling if you don't mind me asking?

mos tof this years Kenmore stuff is LG and Samsung, there is still some Whirlpool m but whirlpool had fallen behind the times in thier front load technology for a few years so if it is a few years old, it very well could be a whirlpool, or even a ge or a frigidaire

here is how to tell http://www.appliance411.com/purchase/sears.shtml

and giggle, if you had purchased your laundry pair from my store with extended warranty, we would have gotten you a new set after the 3rd repair. we have a no lemon guarantee , and if it is repaired 3 times, and breaks a 4th, new unit coming!

    Dear Giggle

I'm so happy I got your letter. Normally I look in the mail but I was searching Google and strolled upon this place. I thought to myself , I wonder if anyone mistakenly sent a letter to me here. Lucky for me, someone did. How could I forget your front end? It looked pretty but I guess the inner workings were messed up. No wonder the technician doesn't want to visit. He must have a phobia of damaged goods so I better talk him into a different profession. It does pain me to see you this way but we got our money out of you so it just makes sense we focus on other prospective clients. Please don't be angry. Now to make things right, I can give you the address of some laundromats. Just bring us money and I will be happy to exchange it for Loonie and Quarters

    Thanks for the money SUCKER!!!!
