I definitely say crock. I like to serve mine with mashed sweet potatoes and a simple salad. You can make a nice thin gravy with the juices as well.

dont forgot the applesauce on the side

Slow cooker is the best i find. The meat is very tender and melts in your mouth. With some veggies of choice along side.

I say oven for all pork and beef roasts, not covered with just spices on top and a little oil in the pan. I always use a meat thermometer for my roast beef so I know when to take it out so it is med-rare.

Pot roasts or hams are great for the slow cooker.

crockpot with a can of cranberry sauce, 1/3 cup french dressing and sliced onions. Serve with mashed potatoes. The cranberry sauce makes an amazing gravy!!

I say Oven, for a Porketta. I find the flavor breaks out better in the oven vs. the crockpot. Even tho I am an avid crockpot cooker!
