Default update on Peisha (the dumped dog)

so, we have had her about a month and a half now. she is wonderful. she smiles all the time, so happy and so trusting. it upsets me how trusting she is.

there has only been one panic moment. my mom and i were walking the back roads in goulais and my mom fell on the slippery icy snow. i was worried so i ran back and got the car to pick her up so she wouldnt fall again. peisha was ok with following along with the car. untill my mom got in the car and i was in the car, then she clung desperately and would not let go. i was so worried about my mom (who is fine, thank god) that i didnt realize that poor peisha was driven out in the bush and dumped off and it looked like thats what we were doing too.

she is fixed now, so will never have more babies. she had at least 14 in her short youth.

our dog winston was not too happy at first. i really wanted him to have a friend. i thought that she was old enough to not be a big puppy. poor winston. he would just stare at me and bore his eyes into mine saying "WHY???" "WHAT have you done?". peisha is a tornado of activity and energy and happiness. well now they are finally playing together and getting along.

we have finally let her go off leash and she can run like the wind. and it sure is helping the 2 dogs bond better. now they are both sitting outside on the deck chewing on their beef soup bones from Rj's. happy as can be.

she has adjusted to our routine with no problems. i just wanted to share our happiness and her updated story.

Awww...Peisha sounds like the biggest sweetheart. Makes me wanna cry thinking about how someone could have dumped them.

look how big jazymyn is! they were so small when i saw them. she did make beautiful babies, im glad they all found homes. but how many other beautiful babies dont find homes because of idiots who dont fix their pets.
