    Default Intermittent wireless problem

We have a couple of laptops in the house and a wireless router and modem. My one laptop loses connectivity almost every day, and then, inexplicably connects again. If there is an IP conflict, shouldn't the system register an error? I don't get any such message.

Typically, the problem is fixed if I reset the router and modem.

How can I keep this from happening?

    I am with Rogers.

I had this problem for the longet time and had forgotten about it. I found that my cordless phone system - the base or main unit was causing my problem. I ended up having a dying battery in the phone that I had in the base unit and when I took the phone and set it aside - end of problems.

My wireless phone was right next to my laptop. I moved te phone over to the cradle, and rebooted my laptop. Voila. I am connected! So far so good. Thanks.
