Somewhere in a lonely hotel roomthere’s a guy starting to realizeThat eternal fate has turned it's back on himIt's two a.m.
That's not a fort! That's the man's ultimate dog house!

That's very interesting. I don't know if I would want to in a wooden ball during a storm lol
Think about it. The wind resistance would be optimal on the structure itself. However, the tree could pose a problem lol.

I could take it a little more seriously if they didn't have a microwave...LOL
lol no kidding a microwave and a water bottle tank. Why would you need those in the bush?
That's not escaping it all...that's just dumb
Though it WOULD be a cool kids fort!
I was also wondering how the were generating electricity to that microwave.

Probably a generator
You need a fairly large generator to run a microwave. I know I have one at camp that doesn't run off the generator very well. So where would the generator be? Unless they have it on the ground with wiring running up to the ball.
Anyways it's not very woodsy.

I think the craftsmanship on this is beautiful. I love the lines. It is very organic, not to mention I am a sucker for undecorated wood.
This is not a kid’s fort. More of a small cottage in the trees.
I like how they used a water cooler with built in mini fridge in its base.

Mushroom House
This structure is also in the trees. It isn't too far away from where I was born and raised. I haven't found any pictures of the inside of any of the three pods that make up this house, since the owners are reclusive and choose to remain anonymous. These are some of the better pictures that I've managed to find on the net.
You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.

I agree it looks like one big nut hanging from the tree....
