Thread: Telemarkers

    Default Telemarkers

This week I've had 3 call - Ships horn blows in my ear and I've one a trip for 2 there is no way to speak to an actual person to ask to be removed from their call list. I also recieve a bi-monthly call from someone in a forien land claiming to represent Microsoft. I have asked politely to be remove from their list to no avail. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told to F##K Off. I registered with the national do not call list approx 3 years ago. I there anything I can do to stop these intrusions into my privacy?

I have tried contacting the telephone company and they state the phone numbers are untracable and nothing they can do - hours of waisted time talking to them - I feel they just do't give a damn. I no longer have the # for the DNC registry if some one has it I would gladly try that avenue.

The ship calls... just press 0 or 9 and it will take you to a person or let you auto remove yourself. We get them all the time at my office and it seems to have stopped since I started doing that.

You can make a complaint online or by phone.

    Online:

Go to the National DNCL Web site
    By phone:

    Call toll-free 1-866-580-DNCL (1-866-580-3625) or
Call 1-888-DNCL-TTY (1-888-362-5889) only if you are calling from a TTY device.
When filing a complaint, you must provide the following information:

name and/or number of the telemarketer
    date of the telemarketing call
    nature of the complaint
contact information, such as name, address, and telephone number
The heart of the human problem is the problem of the human heart.

Be aware that some of these people just go from one number to the next. Can't stop that.

The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don’t have to compromise convictions to be compassionate.''

This is one of the reasons my number is not listed in the phone book. No calls from annoying telemarketers.

I'm going to have to re-think my strategy, the kinky phone sex chat just doesn't seem to be working out for me when they call.
