Default Tylenol

I know that there are nurses on here so I have a question for you.

How many Tylenol extra strength (500mg) can a person take at once without overdosing?

Sounds like you need to consult a doctor for something stronger.

If you need more than the "reccommended" dose then you should be seeing a doctor

I do have percocets that I take and I take a lot of them. Problem is I can't get in to see my doctor to get more and don't want to go to the emergency. I was given enough to last me until August 7th when my doctor was back from holidays but I haven't been able to get into see him and now have ran out because it's the freaking 12th. I've already way beyond the 2 Tylenol so I'm not sure what I'll do.

be careful with those perks, when they are gone and u have none left you are going to experience bad withdrawal symptoms, its synthetic heroin

My sister was given a prescription for weed. Too bad your doctor never gave you one. You could have had it filled today! It helped her when she ran out of perks.

Tippy, suck it up and go to the Emerg, that much Tylenol is killer for your your Liver. besides, I don't know how good your doctor is for appointments and letting yuo call the office for more refils, but would you rather wait a month or whatever to see the doctor or waste 5 hours or so waiting in emerg? I would take the 5 hour appt as opposed to the month long waiting one

I would just go to Emerg, get er' done. I know its a pain in the arse, but better get em now before the pain is worse.

The only problem is that they are VERY relunctant to prescribe pain medication at the walk-in and many doctors will not do it. Been there with my sister many times. Her doctor should call in a prescription for her tomorrow that will last until her next appointment. Doesn't help her today though

Oh no doubt DQ I'm not going to wait a month. I wouldn't make it that long. I'm hoping to get into the group health walk in clinic. When I went to the emerg last time for this Dr. Pearson was pretty rude about me using the emergency when I am a member of the Group Health and made it very clear that I should be going there and not the hospital. Therefor that is the problem with going to the emerg. Since Dr. Pearson is likely the doctor there.

It's none of his business that you are a member of the walk-in clinic and he cannot refuse to assist because of it! That is rediculous and infuriates me. I cannot stand that doctor. He will probably not prescribe because I know a lot of people that he never prescrbes for. Even anti-biotics when there is a history of needing it for some problem.

If go the only trouble you SHOULD encounter that can be understandale is the relunctance to prescribe pain killers at the walk-in due to the abusers of the system. If you get Swartz (spelling) he is using pretty good and prescribing. Dr Wacker is also very good at listening and you might get it from him as well.
