Are they worth buying? Anyone have one?
Used to have one. Can't remember how it got a very little hole in it, could've been a dog or cat or kid....but the little white styro balls in it got everywhere. I think what matters is the construction quality and who/what is going to have access to it.
I don't remember it being comfortable and my son never seemed to use it. A floor/gaming chair would have suited him better at the time(no styro balls, easy to clean, hard to hole).
People who use the internet to stalk or creep are generally useless, boring people. REALLY!!
I bought 2 vinyl ones from sears for my kids years ago. They never really used them much until the polystyrene fill started to fly out at the seams when they jumped on them.
Same here Loopy, boys wanted one, got a hole in it and made one heckuva mess. Don't remember them using them much either.
But on the other hand I can picture my daughter sprawling out in one watching tv or playing games. We got her a smaller recliner type chair at Liquidation World for $50.00....best thing ever. She loves it! Not one of those small kiddie recliners, bit bigger than that, but not as big as one we'd sit in. Perfect for her.

We did the beanie bag chair thing with our 2 kids when they were little too. The exact same thing happened with them as with everyone else. What a mess they make - yuck!! Into the garbage they went.
I thought it was beans inside not the white styro foams. Both would be messy never thought of them ripping.
Beanbag chairs are a nightmare once they get a hole in them. I've resolved that I will never buy my kids comfortable furniture. It keeps them from sitting on their backsides all day!
