    Wink Obama's approval

Aided by comparison to the vastly unpopular Congress, Barack Obama has advanced to a 49 percent job approval rating in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll - his best showing since spring, and one that, if it holds, that may put his re-election prospects back within reach.

    Huh, so no time soon?
A friend stationed in Afghanistan has retired and stayed on, opening a bomb plant that makes ordinance that look like prayer mats. Profits are through the roof.

The Republican's have plenty of time to scrape up a candidate. I mean, these are the same geniuses that supported Dubya for 2 terms.

Obama approval rating rising thanks to the Republicans. Too funny!
GOP had this one in the bag and they're giving it away.

The CNN/ORC Poll also shows that the Republican brand has suffered. Only 43% of voters have a favorable view of the Republican Party, down 6 points since June, while the numbers for the Democratic Party have held steady at 55%. The view of the GOP has slipped since the debt-ceiling debacle and top Democratic operatives are convinced the Republican Party has taken more of the blame for the gridlock in Washington. They believe the GOP is likely to take a further hit if the payroll tax cuts aren't extended.

2012 prediction: How republicans hand Obama victory the 2012 presidential elections

    http://www.allvoices.com/contributed...tial-elections

If ever there was a political scheme that was destined to fail, it may well be republican coo to unseat President Barack Obama in the 2012 elections.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was the first to publically admit that his primary goal was to make Obama a one term president, and he has been doing everything he can to fulfill that mission. But like a badly handled weapon missing the target, the collateral damage of the GOP war against Obama has been more than the economy. An American way of life is being threatened in ways that the public has less tolerance for every day.

Every move the republicans make that validates their promotion of dysfunctional governing, also brings Obama one step closer to a second term. Another factor is the GOP candidate. Even republicans are unhappy with their choice of candidates and the party itself is divided.

While lower unemployment rates would surely help Obama, republican efforts to prioritize defeating the president over jobs and compromise governing may carry more weight in the voting booth than just the unemployment rate.

The ultimate factor in the Obama edge may indeed be based on fear, but not the kind the GOP has been spinning. Radical conservatives have done their best to paint Obama in a bad light, but it pales in comparison to the havoc the Republican Party has wreaked on the democratic process. Filibusters, temper tantrums, and unprecedented dysfunction are the marks of the GOP now; hardly a work ethic worthy of repeating.

In just 3 short years, America's approval rating of the republican controlled congress has dropped to just 11%, according to Fox News. If even half of those numbers translate into anti-republican votes, Obama 2012 may prove that aiming to destroy an entire country when the target is just one man is not just poor marksmanship, it is political suicide.

Looks like a lot more superstars might be needed to fulfill RWs wish of unseating Obama.

Hard to believe that silence could be the best political angle for the Republicans.

I think if Obama took off his mask and revealed himself to be bin laden, he would still be elected before these republican candidates.

Timbits have more credibility and appeal than the current Republican candidates.
