    Default Shaw Extreme

I recently upgraded my Shaw internet from regular high-speed to extreme speed.

This is what I got now:

Speedtest.net: Ping 64 ms, Download 4.65 Mbps, Upload 2.33 Mbps.
Shaw speedtest: Ping 74 ms, Download 8.08 Mbps, Upload 2.08 Mbps.

Those numbers seem low to me. Is that acceptable for Shaw Extreme?

It's always "up to". Your upload speeds are where they should be, your downloads are a bit on the low end.
Try at 2:00 AM and see if it makes a difference.

Also try Winnipeg server for a speed test. Some other servers can't deliver enough speed for a proper test.

I chose the Winnipeg server on Speedtest.net and got download speeds around 22 Mbps. I tried the test before during the middle of the day.

    Thanks Hans.

Your upload is slow Mboy? I had to put an attenuator on my incoming line because the signal was to high for the modem to work properly. I noticed the difference in the upload speeds.
