    Default Paranoia the Destroyer

    Floridian sicks police on "terrorist"

    "What's that, some kind of foreign licence plate? Yeah, that guy's a terrorist."

    That's what Joseph Tarochione thought when he spotted a set of white-and-blue Ontario plates on a car in Florida, apparently.

    On January 31, the 73-year-old Homosassa, Florida man dialed police, said he was with the Department of Defense special forces and asked them to inspect a vehicle belonging to a Canadian tourist for bombs, reports News 13.

    Tarochione had used his own vehicle to force the Ontario car (not the one pictured; that's a modified stock image) off the road and into the parking lot of a strip club, where he held the, um, suspects until officers arrived.

    The way the American media pumps out their propaganda, it's a wonder you don't hear about stuff like this more often. Or is this guy just a grade-A moron?

    * Fictitious License Plates
    * Canadian license plates
    * No license plates
    * Fictitious Drivers Licenses
    * Refuse to identify themselves
    * Request authority for stop
    * Make numerous references to US Constitution
    * Attempt to "police the police"

    Left Wing Terrorists
    * Political motivation is usually Marxist/Leonist philosphy

    Another reason Call a member of the Phoenix FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force.

    The FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force is attempting to identify criminal activities with domestic terrorists. In this regard, the purpose of this information sheet is to assist uniformed patrol officers in identifying potential domestic terrorism. Domestic terrorism is defined as: Groups or individuals operating entirely inside the US, attempting to influence the US government or population to effect political or social change by engaging in criminal activity. In the event questionable activity is encountered, contact the individuals named in this brochure for clarification.

    Having a little problem figuring out exactly what your meaning might be.

The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don’t have to compromise convictions to be compassionate.''

    Oh. Sorry Soundy, just saying if the Cops have all that stuff to look for on a daily basis, if that is what they are being given to look for in their "pre-post shift" and as in previous days are re-arresting the same criminals again and again. As the paper and Soo Today have posted, and watching out for the other criminals in our city. I'm surprised that some (police people) have time to sh-t or get off the pot... (toilet) Better??? Did not mean to confuse. Crazy maybe, but we are a border town and that means that our COPs basically have it harder because of the border, than let's say Thessalon. (no offence intended to those in T.O., it's just different)

    Ladywolf, take a close look at that list. It identifies EVERYONE you could ever meet as a terrorist.

    Have you ever known anyone to drive a car with fake plates from A to B just to get it there so they could work on it? Now they're a terrorist. Makes sense?

    That's great, a complete public list of things for real terrorists to avoid doing.

    Just like 911, "Don't carry guns, but box knives will get through".

    Makes me wonder how many lives might have been saved if more legitimate people could carry guns??

    I think it's high time the US and Australia trade places. We can have a cool and fun neighbor and the US can have it's own secluded little island of paranoia.

    If Australia moved here you'd still be the second most-important nation in North America!

    Now THAT is funny!!!!!

    There is also this little problem: The largest migration of human beings from all corners of the world to one particular spot has been the migration of people to the USA during her history. As such, we have 303,000,000 people. The island would be very, very crowded.

    However, Canada only has 34,000,000 residents (or, what the USA had in 1865). Seeing as people aren't real interested in picking up roots and moving to Canada, Canadians would fit very nicely on the Australian island, and they would have plenty of room.

    Please, feel free to move. Not one American would protest (in fact, most wouldn't even know you were gone).

    Sad fact but you're right. I bet the majority don't know where Canada is on the map. I would also bet the same majority couldn't point to their home state. Or tell you who was running for white house. The African guy or Mittens Romney.

    Another failure of the American education system.

    Or....

    http://www.thedailybeast.com/newswee...mb-are-we.html

    They’re the sort of scores that drive high-school history teachers to drink. When NEWSWEEK recently asked 1,000 U.S. citizens to take America’s official citizenship test, 29 percent couldn’t name the vice president. Seventy-three percent couldn’t correctly say why we fought the Cold War. Forty-four percent were unable to define the Bill of Rights. And 6 percent couldn’t even circle Independence Day on a calendar.

    Very, very crowded?? Sure. Did you know that the CIA Factbook includes coastal waters as part of the area of the USA? Do you like to swim??

    And "most wouldn't even know you were gone"?? To a people who seldom know what is beyond their own borders, this is true. But the rest would know, when Canadian resources stopped!!!
