So, what you're asking is where did the energy come from and why?

Sorry, Jack, I really don't think an experiment using "something to prove nothing" does anything at all.

And the one question science can never ultimately answer is "why".

Beginning indicates the passage of time.

God is, by definition outside His creation, since nothing can be created from within itself. Therefore, by definition, God exists outside of time.

Therefore, "except God" makes sense to me.
