I'm sure your wife should be able to shed some light on this for you.

Feeling a little judgmental this morning, are we? Or is it just simple envy?

I have met apparent dirtbags on occasion, but I'm open minded enough to think, hey, his wife is nice, and not particularly stupid. If she sticks with the guy, maybe there's something I don't know.

RWGR doesn't even know Obama personally. Calling someone a dirtbag based on their politics really goes to show the character of the person making the statement.

So, if you make a negative statement about anyone you are questioned on your character ?

Sure it is. I like to counter his lies, mostly.

Obsession would imply I missed him when he was gone.

    Not a chance.

I'm kinda surprised that RWGR has anything good to say about Michelle Obama given how critical of her some of his right-wing heros are. I crack up when they attack her for advocating a healthier lifestyle for kids. When she suggests that "x" amount of time be spent during each school day on physical activity or that healthy food be a mandatory requirement in school cafeterias, she is accused of usurping parental authority, saying that she is basically stating parents shouldn't have the right to decide how to raise their children.....totally ignoring the fact that child obesity is an epidemic and that it directly impacts not just health care costs but the quality of life for these kids. Goes right along with them asserting that her husband is elitist for saying every child should have a real, legitimate (rather than theoretical) opportunity for a university education. I don't remember similar left-wing attacks on Laura Bush's literacy advocacy.

Anyone want a perfect example of a strawman? There it is. KA nailed it, perfectly.

The Right never once criticized Michelle for wanting kids to eat more healthy; they criticized the avenue she took to get there. But why would I expect KA to know that, when she is always looking for a reason to bash the Right??

The Left rarely criticized Laura Bush, because there was nothing to criticize. The lady was class personified. A much more classier First Lady than Michelle, too.

I don't think anyone would ever accuse an Obama of being classy. But, Michelle did look hot in that pic, so I commented on that. As far as political acumen and intelligence, she's a dork, just like hubby.
