Speaking of poor play:

Canada's undisciplined play at the men's under-18 world hockey championship proved costly on Saturday.

Artturi Lehkonen scored on the power play as Finland rode a three-goal second to down Canada 4-2 in the preliminary round of the tournament.

Atte Makinen, Ville Pokka and Rasmus Kulmala also scored for Finland (1-1), while Joonas Korpisalo made 36 saves for the win.

Mathew Dumba had a goal with a second left in the first period and assisted on Kerby Rychel's goal for Canada (1-1). Goaltender Matt Murray stopped 22 shots.

"We just didn't play very well," said Canadian head coach Jesse Wallin.
