My grand daughter in grade nine and getting 85% in geography made mention of Paris,.............England. We laughed and wrote it off to teen age mis speak. A couple of day later and this time she jumped into a conversation about Texas and said in a clear loud voice "I thought Texas was in South America"? WTF?
My 11 year old grand daughter who is passing with comfort just asked "Poppa, is Canada in Ontario"?
Are my grand children idiots or is the problem with the teachers or the curriculum? It has to be one of those three.

Fear this as these are among the future leaders of this great country.
