Canada beats U.S. in overtime for women’s world hockey championship
It was quickly apparent this was going to be another in a long line of fast, hard and mean games between the North American women, to the delight of the 4,000 filling the University of Vermont’s Gutterson Fieldhouse. The Fighting Catamount band provided a college football feel.

These teams go to OT all the time. It's insane.
Good to see a great atmosphere was provided by the best fans in the world: USA fans!!!

Ha ha your lack of american television coverage doesn't say so.: USA fans!!!
There are no or few hockey fans in the usa, you've even admitted to it.
By the way your country follows and plays the game you maybe not even in the top 5.

Women's hockey is a joke right now; it's the USA and Canada, and all the rest are miles behind. It's terrible. No self-respecting person would watch women's hockey.
Which probably explains why Canada watches women's hockey.

Canada watches womens hockey proving the level of support we give.
The best fans in the world have to be there for the team....and we are!
That doesn't change the fact that womens hockey, in general, is in trouble!

No doubt that was cemented when your fans spit on the 12-and 13-year old American team in the semi-finals of the Quebec pee wee tourney a few years ago. Then when Canadian parents harassed the kids after the game on the way to their bus, that was a moment you should be proud of, too.
