Does anyone know if there is policy within the public school board regarding a student's privacy? This would be in regard to an ADSB employee revealing personal info of a student to a large group of other students.

I should certainly hope there is!
With so much emphasis on bullying in the schools a teacher/employee shouldn't be doing or saying anything that centers any child out or gives other kids fuel to bug them about.
No idea if this is what's happening but if it is, I'd be ticked!
Browsed through some of the ADSB site but haven't come up with anything about a studen't privacy yet.

Yeah, I've been through the website, haven't read all of the policies, but nothing in the index.
In regards to another matter on here someone suggested calling the School Board!
There will certainly be a call, but I was hoping to be educated in their privacy policy first.
There is as far as I was told. Some years ago I called the ADSB about a certain principal . I was talking to my Gson on the phone. He had his teachers permission. When I called I asked for the person in charge of this school. In talking to him I was assured the student nor I would get into trouble with this principal. It was taken care of very quietly.
I know several people who work for the schoolboard and i used to. No absolutely not employees are not to divulge personal information about students to other students or other people in general. Information is passed along to other teachers in the best interest of the child as they are to work as a team but other than that absolutely not. Students though young still has privacy rights.

It also depends on what you might think is personal info. What you think is, may be viewed as others and by policies as not being so...
