Back to pet peeves before yet another thread disappears...

Bottles that stand on their lids. (ketchup bottles, shampoo bottles etc) I hate those things! Why can't they just be paid normal like they were? Every time you open the bottle, all of the stuff comes pouring out everywhere! Pisses me off! God forbid anyone actually use their arm and shake the damn thing.

Much and all as I have applauded the people who pull over to the side of the road to talk on their cell phone, today I was driving on Carmens' Way from Queen and stopped at the red light at Wellington. The guy in the truck ahead of me is first in line to turn left onto Wellington West. The light turns green and he sits there. It was then that I noticed, by way of his side mirror that he is talking on his cell phone. We all had to sit through another red light till he finished his call. Idiot don't answer darn phone UNTIL you can pull over!

What they should do, but will never do, is look at having flashing yellow lights after certain hours. They do it in other citys, yah, they are afraid of lawsuits here. Some idiot will get hit unpurpose, then sue somebody !

People who reek of cigarette smoke, when you have no choice to be around them sometimes, its disgusting ! If they had a clue, they would quit !
In the work place, they need to deal with this, its not right ! And, would it be harassment to tell a coworker they stink, when its so obvious ?

I agree with you believe it or not. Both my son and I have asthma and one thing that sets it off right quick is inhaling smoke or just the stench of someone who reaks of it. As soon as I get a whiff of smoke or someone who reaks of it I'm backing away......just not worth the trauma on my lungs to stay in the same space with them, and if they ask me I'll tell them why I had to move away. It's scary how sensitive our lungs can be to something like that, and nobody in our house smokes.

One thing I've noticed is people who make a point of going outside to smoke (at home or wherever) don't reak like those that do smoke in their homes. Some I never would have known they smoked if they didn't mention it, yet others who do you wonder how they can stand it.

What about the ones that don't know the difference between "to" and "too" so they use one or the other all the time and hope they are half right!! LOL

You know what I hate? People who criticize other peoples spelling and grammar but don't know how to use puctuation or use slang like giggity or LOL and smiley faces in their posts...
