    Default Duvet cOlour.

I have a black dog and a white dog and a black duvet and white duvet. My husband doesn't allow dogs on the bed but I like a bit of puppy snuggle time as we eat popcorn and watch chick flicks when he is working. The first thing he notices is the white or black hair on the blanket when he gets home. What is a good colour to help make the hair not as noticeable???

I have the same problem, so I have a "cuddle time" blanket. I spread it over the bed before I invite them up. When cuddle time is over, I fold the blanket up as I take it off the bed to contain the hair & hide the evidence lol

I don't think there's a winning colour for this one but if you figure it out, please let me know. lol

Well I have a cuddle time blanket for the couch. Why didn't I think of one for the bed. I don't see what the big deal is anyways.

I cannot stand the cats on my bed. I normally vacuum my bed daily but I hate doing it. For some reason, they like my bed the best. I recently bought a bedspread (brown) and it's kinda satiny so the hair just slides off rather than stick to a cotton like material.

Well, I would say don't bring the dogs on the bed because your husband doesn't like it but that would mean that you actually have to listen.

"Ya I even let the dogs use his pillow when he is at work."

I have to say it, are you just not with it? I mean, you know he doesn't like dogs on the bed and yet you do it. You claim you even let them on his pillow! Is it just too much to ask that you actually NOT do what he doesn't want you to do?

In the meantime, maybe he'll blow his nose with your pillow-case.

Oh ya, all this while he's at work and you're watching "chick flicks"? Did I get that right?

Sorry, you seem like a nice enough person at times but other times you seem like the girlfriend/wife from hell.

get one of those satiny type ones that the fur doesnt stick to. and get it in a grey camo material that will cover all the bases.

You could do what I do....have separate bedrooms. That way I have the whole bed to myself and the animals and he has a hairless bed. lol

I clean for a lady who has a black dog and a blonde dog, and they both go on the bed. She has a blanket she puts over her regular bedding during the day, and I'd imagine she takes it off at night. I would suggest doing that, and then just removing it when your spouse is home. :-)

I keep my bedroom door closed. We have two cats, who love my bed, but I cannot stand the fur. It's bad enough it is on my clothes, but I refuse to let it in my bed. We also bought leather furniture because I was sick of vaccuuming it all the time.

Nooooo! No siamese cats in this house. My aunt had one and they are just mean.

The younger of the two walks around meowing to herself when we go to bed, but I just ignore it. Luckily, baby doesn't hear her either. The older one, always tries to sneak in, so when leaving the bedroom, you need to have your alerts up and your foot ready to block. Sometimes, it can be quite entertaining, but more often than not, irritating.

I guess that is what he get for using my lappy and not logging out LOL. I told him that the dogs were my real life stuffies. Would he rather a bed full of stuffed animals or real animals?
