I have HD, I need HDMI to get best reception for my tele. Also the audio cable plugs into my tv then my blueray 5.1 so I can here all speakers while I watch.

The buck or two carries 3ft HDMI cables for 2 bucks. I've been using the same one for at least 6 months without issue.
