Cat, I think you and Bones are talking past each other.
Go easy, please.
''Our culture has accepted two huge lies: The first is that if you disagree with someone’s lifestyle, you must fear them or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don’t have to compromise convictions to be compassionate.''
This thread needs to be now put out of its misery.

I think we should just all love each other.

You remind me of your Catholic Church, always trying to sweep your issues under the mat.
Do the natives make their own shawarmas..? they have indian tacos what about indian shawarmas

when native people use their status card to buy merchandise in a store so they do not have to pay the tax is the merchandise they purchase tax free supposed to go to the reserve? I see people using their card and they give a SSMarie address.....I didn't know SSM was a reserve
You don't have to live on the reserve to have a status card from what I understand. A coworker of mine got her status card and does not live on the reserve. Natives get the tax free status for being native not for living on the reserve. They also get tax free across the river from what I understand as well.

oh...ok I did not know that...thanks
