The small guys do the best.

The competions have overall winner that is judged by what percentage of their body weight was lifted. It's almost 6 times their body weight.

The smaller guys usually have a better chance than the heavyweights.

"My comment would be that, on average, women CANNOT compete on an equal level in sports. However, some women, being physically more fit and possibly larger, might compete head to head with men."

No, Jack, this is what I said earlier.

I see your comprehension is as good as ever. Note the words, "on average"

It doesn't have anything to do with gender, but it does have something to do with talent!

A lot of times it has to do with how well you qualified. If you have to start deep in the field your chances of getting caught up in something goes way up.

That has to do with talent as well.

    ...swing and a miss slugger!
Hitting the wall wrecked the tire?? I didn't know.

Ninth is deep in the field? I didn't know.

I thought there were over 40 cars.

But then, Danica is not average, is she??

    Restating:

So, the average woman CANNOT compete on a level playing filed with the average man. She just isn't strong enough.

SOME women might compete head to head with men, especially where sheer strength is not that great an issue.

Transgendered (male to female) persons would have an unfair advantage if allowed to compete in womens sports.

The tire went flat than she hit the wall.

Ninth is OK. That shows you what kind of equipment and team she has. 30th isn't.

There are 43 cars with about 5 or 6 start and parks.

You don't have to repeat what you have said or is your memory that short?

You must be built different than myself....I can't sit on a fence without a considerable amount of pain.

Is there something you're not telling us?

Oh...and her car from last year missed the pole at Indy by 0.0023 seconds or 9.186 inches.

James Hinchcliff is now the driver and Go Daddy is still the sponser.

It's amazing how much faster you can be by changing just one part.

Or maybe I can see both sides of an argument. Which there actually isn't one here, since you agree with me. Or do you just live to argue??

And, BTW, Jack, if you have a specific question, ask it. You're getting tiresome with that "not telling us" nonsense.

You see, I have a set of balls that would not allow me to do what you do.

    It appears you don't!

....not once did I say or agree with your comment that supports the female side.

And, your stance that agrees came along too late.

    ....can you say back peddling!

You have a set of something, no doubt.

Back peddaling?? You haven't been reading my posts at all, have you?

Ya know, I'm beginning to think that you don't believe women can do ANYTHING better than a man.

It's always been my stance that men and women are two halves of a whole. Seems that you AND feminists believe that either can do quite well without the other in any way.

    Sorry, not so.

This couldn't be farther from the truth.

There is something you are afraid of, or you would leave my posts alone.

I read your posts...by your second post you supported the "might be able to" stupidity.

Ha ha...you flip back and forth. First you say you agree with me and than you say "maybe if"!

Your last statement is lost in the fact that, that is not what we are talking about.

You would be a fool to read into it....wups to late!

I think there are probably other sports where this same idea might apply.
Did anyone actually read the article in the OP?
But a Walter-turned-Jenna has 50% greater total muscle mass than me. Even at the same height and weight, I would only be 80% as strong. He has a larger heart and larger lungs, and greater amounts of red blood cells flowing through his veins. If a Walter-turned-Jenna jogged at 50% of his capacity, I would need to work at over 70% of my capacity to keep up. His bone structure, the angle of alignment of his elbows, pelvis, and other male skeletal distinctives would also give him an advantage over me in most sports. His femaleness is a facade. No amount of gender-reassignment surgery and artificial hormones can change the maleness of his DNA. Each cell in his body remains distinctly male.
Disprove the above, and you might have a case. The difference in the pelvis is enough to put her at a disadvantage in anything requiring bipedal locomotion.

I sincerely wish I knew what the heck you're talking about, Jack.

BTW, insults deleted. Sorry about that.
