None of this was ever directed at you or the situation that you had in October.....it was about this couple, today, here at Station Mall. I had all the facts when I posted. You choose to bring your situation into this.
And this is why I don't usually bother with this site.
Is soonet hiring police now ?

as a fellow human and animal lover i thank you for looking out for the dogs well being.
I know a couple who lost a dog because it was left in their car. The husband took the dog for a car ride to run some quick errands around town on a hot day. He got out at a business planning to be back to the car in a few minutes, but got distracted and ended up forgetting the dog was in the car. When he got back one hour later, he was horrified to find the dog in convulsions. Rushing to the vet didn't help. Very very sad.
Unless you are taking your dog to a specific place for a specific reason, leave your dog at home. Period. You aren't doing him any favors.
When it's hot out and you have to run into a store with your dog left in the car did anyone ever think of air conditioning?
I have. I've taken mine to the vet or groomer and had to run into a store. I locked my truck with the A/C going for him for the 5 or 6 minutes.
I would never forgive myself if anything every happened to my boy because of my stupidity.
I just found this which gives a bit of a time line for the temperature change... Scarey
Every year, dogs suffer and die when their guardians make the mistake of leaving them in a parked car—even for "just a minute"—while they run an errand. Parked cars are deathtraps for dogs: On a 78-degree day, the temperature inside a parked car can soar to between 100 to 120 degrees in just minutes, and on a 90-degree day, the interior temperature can reach as high as 160 degrees in less than 10 minutes.
Animals can suffer brain damage or death from heatstroke in just 15 minutes. Beating the heat is extra tough for dogs because they can only cool themselves by panting and by sweating through their paw pads.
If you see a dog left alone in a car, take down the car's color, model, make, and license plate number. Have the owner paged in the store, or call local humane authorities or police. Have someone keep an eye on the dog. Don't leave the scene until the situation has been resolved.

name calling aside, it boils down to common sense - if you feel it's hot - it's twice as hot for your dog. I swear some people have absolutely no intelligence when it comes to the well being of their pets.
It's pretty hot out right now so I've got my dog strapped to the roof of the car. We're headed for Niagara Falls in the morning. She'll be fine up there, right?
That's OK, isn't it RWGR?
Well?
Glad to see this problem is getting more exposure:
