Default a few shots from the neighbourhood

So, i've always been interested in photography but always had a POS camera so I finally got a descent camera last year and have been messing around with it off and on. I still have no idea what most of the things on my camera do or how to do them but even with the basics i have learned, i am pretty happy with the results. My camera is a Canon PowerShot SX20 IS. i welcome any comments, tips or advice thanks for looking!

had a few of them (: took a while to get these pics because i am just learning to use my camera and they kept fluttering away

    cute little froggy.

and his friend. i think i may have saved them, as i walked up i scared off a rather large snake of some sort that was coming towards them. i hope it went and found something else to eat

U should have taken a pic of the snake, I would like to know where you found all the butterflies and bees. I have yet to even see one butterfly. I would like to know what kind of snake that was though, lol.

the butterflies and bees come to visit me in my yard. (: i could not get a picture of the snake, i wanted to but it disappeared too fast and i don't know anything about snakes so i have no idea what kind it was other than not a garder snake like the kind i used to play with when i was little.
