    But not really a huge problem. I don't recall EVER hearing of such a case.

    Because the government allows them to maintain their near monopolistic status on health care.

    Perhaps qualified driving school instructors are better at determining who should drive than a doctor?

    Since kids with driving school end up with more accidents than kids without, I have to wonder about that.

    Thats not a fare statement either.
    if there are 100 kids who take drivers ed and 5 who don't chances are there will be more accidents with kids who have taken drivers ed only because there were more drivers ed students. So your generalization is not a fare or accurate representation of who has better driving records.

    At least kids KNOW the rules of the road if they take drivers ed. What happens is that once they get behind the wheel they often become big shots who think they know it all. They do not pratcice what they were taught. They sometimes fell pressured by other young people in their car. I think drivers ed should be mandatory.
