whats better BB Playbook or an android tablet?

Looking to buy one or the other. I do have a BB bold phone. If I do get the playbook what size of memory? 16 or 32 ?Any other hints suggestions on tablets .

I would as a personal preference get an android tablet but I hate BB. My friend went through two of them, they both bricked and wouldn't turn on anymore. This was over a year ago and I'm sure they fixed that issue.

I just feel like BB tries too hard to keep up.
