Default XBOX 360 Design Flaw

Gamertag: DuffzHere
Gamerscore: NOT ENOUGH!!!!

Here's the deal. My internet was cut off due to ... "abuse". So ... while waiting for them to turn it back on .... I played some campaign games. Ended up getting around 800 gamerpoints over the weekend.

So when the time comes to reconnect my xbox to the net again ... I was greeted with a lovely little message saying my gamer profile was recovered on another system. No biggie. That was my doings. I was playing Saints Row at a friend house and had to use my own profile.

Prior to recovering my profile, I noticed my gamerscore was a whopping 9110. My friend and I are in a competition to 10,000 and I was SO close to victory. And then .... a brick fell from the sky and shattered my near completed goal.

Gamerscore was sitting at 8,500. I lost everything I had done on the weekend!!!!

Here's the deal. The system doesnt remember what happens when it's not online if your tag has been recovered on another system. It will recover the tag as it remembers it being .... NOT as what the hard drive says you've already done.

FABULOUS!!!!!

So are you saying you modded your Xbox 360 and got caught playing burned copies online?

Huh? Where do you get that from? His internet got cut off not his Live...

And yeah I did the same thing when I first got my Live, I ended up losing all my points that I had gotten. I finished Gears but I only have the achievements from Act 4 on and can't be bothered to go through it again to get the rest.

I only have a few missing now. Im missing ...

1000 note streak, Easy tour champ, Sandbox hero,
Hard Tour champ, Fanatiacal completionist award, Scenester award, and somethin else from Guitar hero.

Im missing 8 from NHL 07. They were a painto get thought

And the ones for beating each level in Rainbow Six vegas, and Rainbow Six Legend for doing it all on Realistic ( campaign )

So in all ..... about 400 points. That's a lot better than 600+!!!!!!

Steve ... why the hell would I mod my 360? .... Give me ONE plus side to it.

I cant get any achievments ..... I cant download and burn games ( I sold my computer ) ..... I cant do much of anything aside from voiding a 3 year warranty.

Modding a next gen system is useless.

Why wouldn't you can't get any achievements with a modded 360?

No you dont get achievments on a modded 360. Most games have them disabled. Plus ... I play online a lot.

If you have any cheat codes, or mods i games open .... it disables them. A friend of mind has a md chip in his 360 and he doesnt get achievments. I thought all chips did that
