Default Adultery can be harmful to your health

Another informative post. Perhaps some will think this is more trolling, but it isn't, really. I didn't go looking for it. My newsreader picks up all news items from Scientific Americana - http://www.scientificamerican.com/ar...l-sex-can-kill

I agree that adultery can be harmful to health, although I am not talking the act itself. Affairs consist of lies, lies and more lies. Stress is a major factor when trying to keep your cool, your story straight, and to be deceptive to TWO people (the spouse AND the affair partner)

Add to that the number of adulterers caught in the act, by a spouse who loses their cool...

How sad is it when an adulterer finds out that the one they ran off with is just as faithful as they were.

Sex is healthy, except when you're cheating on your spouse.

Solution: Don't get married, and have all the sex you like, with whomever you like.

Darwin will weed out those who choose your "solution".

Actually, in case you haven't noticed, those kinds of people are outbreeding married, monogomous people at an alarming rate.

They are in fact, more 'fit' (re: survival of the fittest) than those exercising discretion, patience and commitment.

Everywhere I look there's unmarried, impoverished dirtbags with kids. Usually they're screaming and swearing at their kids, for being kids.

And you think they're "more fit"??

In survival of the fittest, 'fitness' refers to how successfully and frequently one passes on their genes, and how often the offsping survives to breeding age.

So yes, they are more fit than their responsible counterparts. It is actually a smart and responsible populace that are on the decline.

Disgusted does have a point there...

I know. The problem is that he seems to think this is a good thing.

It's not a good thing at all. I wish the government would cut the cord to these invalids. Worldwide, I believe a great many people need to die off.

I'm not sure that part of the comment is supportable but it would be an interesting comment of social welfare.

I just need to look across the street to see exactly the point Disgusted is making. It makes me a sad panda to see it too.

Soundbear....do you ever make any mistakes? Of course I am not accusing you of adultery, as that would be a big one, but in your posts, you come off as being the perfect Christian, the perfect Husband, and the perfect Parent....you have it all figured out....which would be wonderful for you, and we would all like to learn from that, but you are very condescending on sharing that information. I know that I am no where near perfection in any of these areas and I strive everyday to become better .....if you have all of the secrets, I would love to learn from you, but your presentation leaves a sour taste in my mouth......

That woud be perception only, as I have to confess to feeling the same way very often about posts directed to me.

It's one of the reasons I like to meet people. Makes a huge difference to my understanding of what people really mean.

The Golden Rule. I'll explain later.

Actually I have met you in person, a few times and you are completely different in person than you are here. Do you ever go back and actually read what you post? Try to picture it from someone else's perspective? I know that you have goodness, kindness and intelligence within you...unfortunately your method of presentation on here is very weak at expressing.... It really does come across like you believe you are always right, and it's become very annoying (for lack of a better word) to read.

    Very much agreed.

As I review this thread, I just can't see it.

I'm honestly wondering what you mean.

    Hmmm.

When certain folks said "Soundbear is gay", that's all they had to say too.

Yet another insight into human nature.
