    Default Ouch!

This is going to hurt those who cling to the few scientists who have been actively debunking global warming for years!

    http://news.yahoo.com/global-warming...170224211.html

The guy used 'debunking' funds to bankroll his research, and came out with proof that global warming is at least partially man-made - ouch!

Sadly, the world will be FUBAR by the time the last debunker is 'outed', so the last laugh still may be in the hands of the flat-earth gang!

You must have missed the part where I said 'at least partially man-made', in your haste to declare victory.

Apology accepted, no need to grovel.

No one has ever claimed it wasn't partially man-made.

You must try to get off the Huff Post once in a while, it will help!

You think you're the only translator on the planet? How precocious of you!

And yeah, you're a 'winner', in my books as well.

Doom-laden predictions that the seas are set to rise by a metre or more this century due to the melting of the Greenland ice sheet are well off the mark, a team of scientists has announced in a new study of the matter.

"It turns out that the ice sheet, in relation to this point, behaves more dynamically and is able to more quickly stabilise itself in comparison to what many other models and computer calculations otherwise predict," explains Professor Kurt Kjaer of Copenhagen uni.

The fact that one study draws different conclusions on the impact of Greenland's melting ice sheet does nothing to; refute global warming, refute that it is man-made, refute that there is a political lobby (most notably in the US) to debunk global warming on principle rather than science, or refute that this scientist was working for the debunkers, and produced evidence to confirm global warming, much to their chagrin. This is where the 'ouch' part comes in.

I think you missed the boat on where the 'ouch' occurs.

Could new NASA data deal a blow to some of the statements and predictions that have been made by global warming adherents? According to James M. Taylor, a senior fellow for environmental policy at The Heartland Institute, the answer is a resounding “yes.”

In Forbes, Taylor writes about some intriguing analysis of NASA satellite data that spans from years 2000 until 2011. Interestingly, the data show that the Earth’s atmosphere is actually allowing more heat to be released into outer space than global warming computer models previously predicted.

A new study in the peer-reviewed science journal Remote Sensing has found that United Nations computer models may be incorrect in overstating the amount of global warming that will occur in the future. The study also finds that carbon dioxide in the atmosphere traps much less heat that global warming enthusiasts have claimed. Taylor writes:

Study co-author Dr. Roy Spencer, a principal research scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and U.S. Science Team Leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer flying on NASA’s Aqua satellite, reports that real-world data from NASA’s Terra satellite contradict multiple assumptions fed into alarmist computer models.

“The satellite observations suggest there is much more energy lost to space during and after warming than the climate models show,” Spencer said in a July 26 University of Alabama press release. “There is a huge discrepancy between the data and the forecasts that is especially big over the oceans.”

Wow, that was a humdinger of a list of 'evidence'!

It's a collection of opinion blogs. You might as well take a bunch of comments from BBS members, and list that as 'evidence', it would have the same impact. All of the links are at least 5 years old, and many of them no longer exist, if you click on them.

If this is what global warming debunkers are relying on to state their case, they are dead in the water.

You can't do any better than that?
