    Default Blocking messenger on router

I need to completely block Yahoo messenger and Msn Messenger on my whole network. I have several computers that connect wirelessly Doing it by individual computers is not an option. I need to block it on the router.

I would have responded to this days ago, but I got banned for posting detailed scientific names of silly things since science is considered disruptive by a bigot of this site.

Depending on you're router , you should have an option for application control or rules. from there you would input the program that would be used and any ports associated with it . That should block them out entirely. The same goes for websites, instead of a program you would use the URL with port 80 or 8080 (which i believe both messengers use).
